Then there’s a four-page comic entitled “Orbital Era” (in Japanese). This is follower by another comic, this time about Batman, over 8 pages. And it’s in English!

The next part is dedicated to Otomo’s work on animated movies with black & white research on characters, vehicles and environments, and some colour renditions of the various shots he worked on. Some of the sketches here are really impressive!

The fifth chapter of the book is entirely dedicated to Cannon Fodder with mostly full and double-pages illustrations and even a huge folded poster pictured below: The last chapter contains varied illustrations and a few pages about the many goodies Otomo fans have been able to buy over the last 20 years or more! This book is quite rare and therefore expensive, but if you admire Katsuhiro Otomo’s works, you have to have it. It’s one of the “deluxe” books you’ll have in your library:).
