Cutting the pieces to the correct size is important, as is sewing the pieces in the correct order. If this sounds complicated, then the detailed drawings and photographs will ease you through this easy-to-sew quilt pattern. Lap Quilt This pattern is for a slightly smaller quilt although you can easily increase its size by sewing more panels.

This design mixes up strips with squares which produces a more random pattern than some of the more geometric designs.
